MyJAMS Ltd contributed ARME-derived immersive media technology to Kenilworth Revealed, a public augmented-reality heritage app for Abbey Fields.

Commercial development from the ARME project is being taken forward through the MyJAMS Ltd spin-off company.

The ARME team is delighted to congratulate Dr Tom Goodman on being awarded the British Empire Medal (BEM) in His Majesty the King’s New Year Honours List for 2026. The honour recognises Tom’s services to technology in the West Midlands.

ARME was featured in the projection-mapped finale to the University of Birmingham’s 125th anniversary celebrations.

The ARME project continues to grow through follow-on funding. Alongside the core EPSRC grant, the project has secured further support to move the research towards practical tools for musicians, educators, and creative-technology partners.

As part of the ARME project, a Master student project by Nazrin Salimzade focused on designing an interface that supports discovery of musicians, social connection among potential collaborators, and encourages the creation of novel virtual ensembles.

ARME was presented through a seminar and live demonstration at Wolfson College, Oxford.

The ARME project has been shared with public, professional, student, academic, and industry audiences through demonstrations, workshops, press coverage, and online channels. The following activities correspond to entries visible through the public UKRI/Gateway to Research record.
