A five-day augmented reality workshop involved 35 students and professionals from the West Midlands. The workshop introduced approaches for developing AR applications and helped connect immersive technology skills with local students and practitioners.
A separate five-day virtual reality workshop for scientific research involved 25 students and professionals from the University of Birmingham. That training focused on how to develop VR research studies, building capacity for future work in immersive perception, movement, and interaction.
Together, these workshops helped share the technical knowledge behind ARME with people who can apply similar tools in research, creative technology, education, and training.
