ARME demonstrations at the VR Lab inauguration

The event brought together students, researchers, collaborators, and performers from the University of Birmingham, Birmingham City University, Aston University, the University of Warwick, the Max Planck Institute, PartPlay, and the Coull Quartet.
Attendees tried versions of the audio simulation and augmented-reality simulation developed through ARME. The demonstrations prompted questions and discussion about future directions for immersive music practice, virtual ensemble rehearsal, and research using responsive avatars.
